Join your fellow Friends of Levitt Convening attendees and experience one of Los Angeles’ renowned cultural institutions: The Broad, GRAMMY Museum, or The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). Hosted by the Levitt Foundation, these museum experiences are self-guided, allowing you to explore at your own pace.
When registering for the Friends of Levitt Convening, please select one museum to experience on Friday afternoon. Shuttles will be provided to take you to and from the GRAMMY Museum. The Broad and MOCA are both located a short walk from the Omni Hotel. Information about your museum tickets will be provided at a later date.

The Broad

The Broad is a dynamic contemporary art museum in downtown Los Angeles, known for its bold architecture, world-class collection, and vibrant cultural presence. Housing over 2,000 works by leading postwar and contemporary artists including Andy Warhol, Yayoi Kusama (“Infinity Mirror Room”), Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Jeff Koons, The Broad offers a compelling journey through some of the most influential art of our time. With a prime location beside the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall, it stands as a must-visit destination in the heart of Los Angeles’ cultural corridor. Featured installations also include “Robert Therrien: This is a Story” and an expansive presentation of works by Roy Lichtenstein.

The Museum of Contemporary Art

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) is a cornerstone of the city’s cultural landscape, dedicated exclusively to contemporary art created after 1940. MOCA offers a bold and intimate space for engaging with cutting-edge works by both established and emerging artists. Its permanent collection includes influential names such as Mark Rothko, Barbara Kruger, Jackson Pollock, and Kerry James Marshall, showcasing the evolution and impact of contemporary artistic movements. With thought-provoking exhibitions, public programs, and a commitment to pushing artistic boundaries, MOCA remains a vital destination for anyone seeking to experience the pulse of contemporary art in the heart of Los Angeles. Current exhibits include “Diary of Flowers: Artists and their Worlds,” “MOCA Focus: Takako Yamaguchi,” and “Fictions of Display.”

GRAMMY Museum

The GRAMMY Museum is an immersive celebration of music, history, and artistry, offering visitors a behind‑the‑scenes look at the legacy of the GRAMMY Awards and the artists who’ve shaped the sound of generations. Located at L.A. Live in the heart of downtown, the museum blends cutting‑edge technology with interactive exhibits, rare artifacts, and dynamic multimedia installations. From handwritten lyrics and iconic stage costumes to sound booths and historic recordings, the experience highlights legends across genres and eras. You can explore standout permanent exhibits such as “Sonic Playground,” an interactive hands‑on space merging technology and music for all ages; “Shining Like A National Guitar,” a display of vintage National brand instruments dating back to the 1920s; and “How to Win a GRAMMY,” which traces the evolution and significance of music’s biggest night. Exciting rotating exhibits include “Luther Vandross: Artistry and Elegance” and “Retro Blakesberg: The Music Never Stopped.” The Friends of Levitt Convening takes place on GRAMMY Weekend 2026, which adds an extra layer of excitement, as the city’s musical energy converges with the museum’s creative pulse to make the experience even more memorable.
This is a self-guided tour. The GRAMMY Museum is located 1.5 miles from the Omni Hotel (approximately 7-minute drive). A shuttle will depart from the Omni Hotel for the museum at 1:50 p.m. Pick-up from the GRAMMY Museum back to the hotel will be at 4:15 p.m.
