Harrisonburg, VA

Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance presents the first Levitt AMP Harrisonburg Music Series at Turner Pavilion, fulfilling an overwhelming local desire to activate the public space with intentional programming for residents of the “Friendly City.”

Just on the cusp of their downtown’s economic redevelopment efforts, the music series highlights the cultural diversity of this Refugee Resettlement Community with events that are welcoming, inclusive, and family friendly. The first Levitt AMP Harrisonburg Music Series at Turner Pavilion fosters community pride and a sense of belonging to this community of more than 51,000, while continuing to inspire a reimagining of the city’s downtown.

Presented by Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance (HDR), a nonprofit committed to building a downtown destination where small businesses thrive and people enjoy memorable experiences, in partnership with Jeremiah Jenkins, City of Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation, and Arts Council of the Valley.
