Alachua, FL

The Levitt AMP Alachua Music Series, presented by Josh’s Place, brings free, live music to Skinner Field Park, expanding cultural life and strengthening the downtown district of this North Central Florida city.

Located in the heart of Alachua’s historic downtown, Skinner Field Park is a spacious recreation area with athletic facilities and open green space that has remained largely underused outside of occasional recreation and the city’s annual Christmas tree lighting. Through the Levitt AMP Alachua Music Series, this central park is emerging as a lively gathering place where residents from across this city of roughly 10,500 can experience free, high-quality performances and connect with neighbors in a welcoming outdoor setting.

Through bilingual outreach, partnerships with local nonprofits, and opportunities for local youth and vendors to participate, the series reflects Alachua’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. By leveraging the power of free, live music, concert evenings are drawing residents and visitors downtown, expanding access to arts and cultural experiences, and advancing Alachua’s vision for a thriving, walkable downtown alive with creativity and connection.

Presented by Josh’s Place, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting belonging and supporting individuals and families navigating daily pressures and concerns, in partnership with Alachua Business League.
