Bath, ME
Located along the Kennebec River in Midcoast Maine, Bath is a town of roughly 8,800 residents with an enduring shipbuilding legacy and strong pride of place. Home to generations of lobstermen, a growing immigrant population, and thousands of Bath Iron Works employees, the city blends blue-collar roots with seasonal visitors drawn to its historic downtown and picturesque coastline. The Levitt AMP Bath Music Series creates a welcoming space where people from across this community can gather to enjoy a diverse range of free, live music.
Bath’s three-acre Waterfront Park provides a natural setting for outdoor concerts, with its open lawn areas, river views, and ample room for vendors and community activities. Just steps from “Maine’s First Ship”—a 51-foot reconstruction of the first English ocean-going vessel built in the Americas—and within walking distance of downtown restaurants and shops, Levitt AMP Bath is supporting local businesses, strengthening connections among neighbors, and bridging Bath’s historic downtown with its evolving riverfront.
Presented by Chocolate Church Arts Center, a nonprofit with a dual mission of presenting visual and performing arts in Midcoast Maine while preserving the historic Central Church it calls home, in partnership with Main Street Bath.
