This year, concerts in Levitt communities brought free live music to nearly a million people, fostering joy, human connection, and strengthening the social fabric of towns and cities big and small across the country. In 2024, the Levitt Foundation was proud to support over 50 nonprofits in more than 30 states, collectively presenting 650+ free outdoor concerts in public spaces, including Levitt venues and Levitt AMP, Levitt BLOC, and Levitt VIBE locations.

Through this programming, Levitt lawns came alive with diverse and electrifying performances, showcasing music across genres from emerging local talent to award-winning national and international artists. With moving tunes and upbeat grooves, the concerts inspired audiences to dance to the rhythms, while cultural celebrations centered the rich traditions and music that have profoundly shaped American culture.

“Every year, our grantee partners deepen program impact with their passion, creativity, and dedication to building community through music, and 2024 was no exception,” said Levitt Foundation President & CEO Sharon Yazowski. “Whether a longtime Levitt venue, Levitt AMP concert site, or a new grantee piloting the Levitt BLOC or Levitt VIBE Music Series, it’s exciting to see nearly a million people of all ages and backgrounds come together through these shared music and cultural experiences. We look forward to expanding our support of free concerts in more communities across the country over the coming years, further spreading the joy and social connections created through the power of free, live music.”
