Levitt VIBE Oakland presenter Black Cultural Zone and the Rise East collective were spotlighted on San Francisco’s KTVU FOX 2 for raising an impressive $100M to support the implementation of massive community-led revitalization plans across East Oakland over the next five years. 

“We can show that Oakland can be that beacon for who we need to be, not only in the state but in this country,” said Carolyn Johnson, CEO of Black Cultural Zone. “We don’t have to divide and conquer. We can grow together.”
