Main Street Fort Smith’s executive director, Amanda Hager, was spotlighted in Arkansas’ Talk Business & Politics for her efforts to catalyze economic development by fostering arts and culture downtown. In addition to organizing the Levitt AMP Fort Smith Music Series, Hager has also spearheaded initiatives to develop stakeholder relationships, beautify downtown buildings, and launch small business incubator programs.

“This is our city’s cultural identity. This is our historical hub,” said Hager of the downtown area. “We should put the effort and love into not only preserving the historical integrity of downtown but also continue to honor it as our cultural and economic center.”
