Apply to be a Levitt Foundation intern to gain hands-on experience while supporting free outdoor concerts nationwide.

 

The Levitt Foundation seeks driven, creative undergraduate or graduate students, as well as those with equivalent experience, who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, mission-centric environment. As a creative placemaking funder, the Levitt Foundation looks for people who are passionate about live music, arts access, social impact, arts administration or related fields.* Levitt Foundation interns are part of a dynamic team and get a wide range of hands-on learning experiences, in addition to online training opportunities, participation in staff meetings and team-building activities.

Communications Internship_Summer 2022

Interning with Levitt is a meaningful way to gain relevant career experience in internal and external communications practices, while making a profound impact in the communities we serve.

  • Timeframe: All internships are part-time (16–24 hours per week) and take place over the course of 10 consecutive weeks
  • Compensation: $15/hr, up to $3,600 (determined by time commitment)
  • College credit: College credit is possible—please check with your academic advisor to make arrangements
  • Location: All internships currently follow a hybrid (remote and office) schedule. Our team is based in Echo Park, Los Angeles, CA. Housing and transportation assistance is not available

Application FAQ

Who should apply?

Undergraduate juniors or seniors and graduate students, or those with equivalent experience, who are authorized to work in the United States, are invited to apply for a Levitt Foundation internship.

How to Apply

To apply, submit a cover letter, resume, and writing sample (if applicable) to internsearch@levitt.org with the internship title in the subject line. Finalists will be invited to in-person interviews 1–2 weeks after each application deadline.
