Concert season is in full swing and Foundation staff are making site visits to Levitt communities across the country! Most recently, Senior Programs Manager Kimberly James traveled to Indiana’s capital city to meet with the team at Big Car Collective (@bigcarpix) and experience a concert on the lawn at Levitt VIBE Indianapolis!
📸 Kimberly at the Tube Factory—a hybrid art museum and community center that serves as the homebase for Levitt VIBE Indianapolis presenter Big Car Collaborative—with site team members Jim Walker, Aaron Cook, Julie Xiao, Lauren Pontenberg, Eduardo Luna, and Peter Ashwin.
📸 Ballet Folklorico Mosaicos (@balletmosaicos) wowed audiences with a traditional Mexican folk dance performance before opening up the stage to Mariachi Band Zelaya.
📸 Hometown favorite Mariachi Band Zelaya (@mariachibandzelaya) was established in 1999, making the quartet the first mariachi band established in Indianapolis.
📸 The Nashville-based lead singer of Heaven Honey, Jordan Gomes-Kuehner–pictured here on the mic and the drums–returned to her home state of Indiana to headline the Levitt VIBE Indianapolis stage!
📸 In addition to the concert, the Tube Factory campus hosted an artist market and outdoor games and activity area, perfect for kids and families.
📸 And, of course, we can’t forget to highlight series regular “Bubble Jim” (@madlabstudio), whose big bubbles are always accompanied by big smiles.
📸 Kimberly joins the Big Car Collaborative team once again for a Safety & Security training session.
📸 Thanks Big Car Collaborative and the lively crowd at Levitt VIBE Indianapolis for such a great weekend!
