“The Mississippi Arts Commission is proud to partner with the Levitt Foundation on a public art and concert series grant that will invest in Mississippi communities. This support will allow Mississippi communities to grow and create lasting public art and a free outdoor concert series that will elevate the quality of life for locals and present a vibrant cultural draw for visitors. We’ve seen how concert series and public art installations, like the Hattiesburg “Live at Five” concert series, have helped revive downtown areas, sparking interest in economic development and tourism. This grant will provide that opportunity for communities in the state that need the extra support to jumpstart their program.”
