This year, the Levitt Foundation will book room reservations directly with the hotel for all participants who request accommodations via the registration form. See below for more information. 

 

 

Please note: the 2025 Levitt National Convening will now take place Thursday, March 27 through Saturday, March 29. All current Convening registrants will receive email communication from the Levitt Foundation in late January to confirm your registration for the new Convening dates, March 27—29, 2025.

If you had a hotel room reservation at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel, you will receive a cancellation email from the Omni Hotel for the January Convening dates. Please note that once your Convening registration for the March dates is confirmed, you will receive a new email confirmation from the Omni Hotel for your hotel room reservation in March.

The Levitt Foundation has a room block at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at the group rate of $209/night + tax for the Convening nights of Thursday, March 27; Friday, March 28; and Saturday, March 29. In order to receive this rate, request your hotel room via your Convening registration form.

The Levitt Foundation will book room reservations directly with the hotel for all registrants who request accommodations via their registration form. After your hotel room has been reserved, you will receive a confirmation email directly from the Omni Hotel, generally within 7-10 days after registering for the Convening and requesting a hotel room. Upon receiving your confirmation email, you can contact the hotel directly to modify your stay or add additional nights, if needed. The group rate is valid 3 days before and 3 days after the Convening.

As a reminder, the Levitt Foundation will cover up to 3 nights of hotel (room and tax only) for up to 3 individuals per grantee organization* on the Convening dates of March 27, 28, and 29. Grantees are responsible for all incidentals and any other dates booked. Additional dates and rooms booked for individuals beyond the 3 covered by the Foundation will need to be secured with a credit card, which can be provided to the hotel following receipt of your confirmation email.

Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza

The Omni Hotel, located atop Bunker Hill in Downtown Los Angeles, will be our home base for all Convening sessions and accommodations. Opened in 1992 as part of the California Plaza complex, this stylish hotel played a key role in the revitalization of Downtown LA. Nearby arts and culture venues add vibrancy to this area, including the Music Center of Los Angeles, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and Grand Central Market. 

 

GETTING HERE

For your convenience, we recommend that you fly into either LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) or BUR (Hollywood Burbank Airport) when traveling to the 2025 Levitt National Convening.

LAX to Omni Los Angeles Hotel:
Approx. 17-23 miles (depending on route)
45–90 minutes to/from hotel (depending on traffic) 

BUR to Omni Los Angeles Hotel:
Approx. 16-19 miles (depending on route)
30–75 minutes to/from hotel (depending on traffic) 

 

All Convening sessions and welcome events will take place at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel; other social events will take place at locations around the city as noted.
