Buffalo, NY
Free concerts are at the center of Ralph Wilson Park’s $110 million community-driven redesign, which is reshaping a 100-acre waterfront landmark into a welcoming public destination. The Levitt VIBE Buffalo Music Series reintroduces live music to this New York landscape, first on the lawn next to the skate park near the transformation of Ralph Wilson Park and ultimately at the restored Amphitheatre—a stage that for decades hosted citywide festivals and summer performances on the shores of Lake Erie, and is set to reopen in 2028 after reconstruction.
Curated in partnership with iconic cultural organizations—including the Funk Fest Foundation, the Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade Festival, and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra—the series reflects Buffalo’s multifaceted identity. From funk and salsa to hip-hop, gospel, and orchestral pop, each concert highlights the sounds rooted in the city’s blend of 250,000 residents, including its Black, immigrant, and working-class communities. With music at the center of this landmark investment, Levitt VIBE Buffalo is strengthening connections between the park and surrounding communities and reinforcing the waterfront as a place where Buffalo’s many communities gather side by side.
Presented by Ralph Wilson Park Conservancy, a nonprofit leading the transformation of Ralph Wilson Park into a safe, vibrant, accessible, and inclusive waterfront destination for generations to come, in partnership with the City of Buffalo.
