Chicago, IL

The Levitt VIBE Belmont Cragin Music Series, presented by the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago, will activate Riis Park in the vibrant, predominantly Latino West Side Chicago neighborhood of Belmont Cragin.

Starting this June, the Levitt VIBE Belmont Cragin Music Series will bring free outdoor concerts to Riis Park, an expansive public greenspace on the West Side of Chicago. With a population of over 78,000, the Belmont Cragin neighborhood is home to a large Latino community—with residents from Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America. Riis Park is one of the locale’s few public gathering places and currently hosts sports, picnics, and even fishing, though is lacking culturally-relevant music programming. The 2024 Levitt VIBE Belmont Cragin Music Series will bring people together of all ages, ethnicities, and socio-economic backgrounds to enjoy free and family-friendly concerts featuring a diverse range of music genres from Latin America, Brazil, and Haiti.

Presented by the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago—one of the city’s longest running and most active Latino organizations, and the only Pan-Latino, multidisciplinary nonprofit in the Chicago area—in partnership with the Chicago Park District’s Riis Park.
