The Levitt VIBE Indianapolis Music Series, presented by Big Car Collaborative, is energizing an underused area of the city in the Near Southside neighborhood.  

 

Launched in 2024, the Levitt VIBE Indianapolis Music Series is one way Big Car Collaborative is turning Terri Sisson Park in the Near Southside neighborhood of Indianapolis—a historically underserved area of the city—into a vibrant and inclusive community gathering space. Designed by Rundell Ernstberger’s Daniel Liggett in close collaboration with Big Car Collaborative staff artists, Terri Sisson Park features many ways for visitors to experience and enjoy art and nature while also socializing with others. The Levitt VIBE Indianapolis Music Series features an eclectic mix of music genres, including Mariachi, country, soul, and folk—highlighting the diverse mix of cultures represented in the neighborhood every day.

Presented by Big Car Collaborative, founded in 2004 as an artist-led organization that uses the tools of culture and creativity to build community and social cohesion, in partnership with Arte Mexicano en Indiana.
