SESSION DESCRIPTION

This 90-minute session introduced key concepts for risk-based crowd safety planning for events, ranging from smaller concert sites to Levitt Pavilion-sized audiences. During this session, Peter discussed crowd dynamics, factors that influence crowd behavior during an event, and how to mitigate crowd safety risks through design, information, and management principles. Additionally, Peter shared tips and techniques for estimating crowd size at your event.
