SESSION DESCRIPTION
This workshop will help nonprofits move from awareness of AI toward practical application. Building on participants’ prior exposure to introductory concepts, the session emphasizes applied practice, real-world use cases, and responsible implementation. Through sector-specific examples, a live demonstration, and hands-on prompting practice, participants will explore how AI can support their work while mitigating risks related to bias, misinformation, and sustainability.
The session will also share practical tools, frameworks, and ethical checklists to help organizations begin shaping their own AI policies. Participants will leave with increased confidence in identifying where AI tools can be most useful and how to approach them responsibly, ethically, and in alignment with organizational values. This session will feature a 60-minute presentation, followed by a 15-minute Q&A.
