Levitt AMP Batesville, which kicked off its 2026 Levitt Music Series in May, has brought joy and community connection to more than 3,000 concertgoers over the first four performances of the 10-week free concert series.

In a recent article in White River Now, Main Street Batesville Executive Director Maggie Tipton-Smart described the unifying impact the series has had on the Batesville community. “This series has always been about more than music,” said Tipton-Smart. “It’s about creating a place where everyone feels welcome, where neighbors gather, families make memories, and people experience the energy and pride of a thriving downtown district.”

Tipton-Smart also spoke to the power of collective involvement. “Every week we are reminded that Downtown Batesville belongs to everyone,” said Tipton-Smart. “The Levitt AMP Music Series demonstrates what is possible when a community invests in gathering spaces, public programming, and experiences that bring people together. We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, musicians, and attendees who continue to make this series a success.”

The Levitt AMP Batesville Music Series continues Thursdays through July 9.
