Levitt AMP Cumberland recently broke their single-night attendance record, with an estimated 750 people on the lawn to soak in a performance by Nashville indie-rock band The Foxies on July 23rd. The Garrett County Republican reporter Claudia Reynolds interviewed Melanie Moore, Director of Frostburg State University’s Cultural Events Series—presenter of Levitt AMP Cumberland—about this milestone.

“This was more than a great concert—it was a celebration of community,” said Moore. “To welcome the largest audience in the history of the Levitt AMP Cumberland Music Series demonstrates how strongly our community has embraced this opportunity to come together through music, the arts and shared experiences.”

The Levitt AMP Cumberland music series continues through August 27.
