About the Tour

During the summer of 2014, Levitt Foundation presented the critically acclaimed World music sensation Playing For Change as part of the inaugural Levitt National Tour.

Taking place over a three-week period, the tour stopped at six Levitt locations—including Arlington, Texas; Bethlehem, Pa; Denver; Los Angeles; Pasadena, Calif.; and Memphis. Levitt audiences across the country were treated to Playing For Change’s high energy show while they grooved to the band’s soulful jams. In addition, audience members of all ages were invited to join drum circles on the Levitt lawn before each concert and the first 250 people at each venue received a Sound Shape mini drum, thanks to Levitt Tour sponsor Remo! Capping off each event, on-stage conversations with the musicians gave insight into the band’s world movement for peace through music and the artists’ inspiring personal journeys.
