SESSION DESCRIPTION
Ever wondered what goes through an agent’s mind when reviewing an offer? Curious how venues can build stronger relationships with artist representatives and improve their chances of landing great talent?
Levitt network consultant Anne Sturm and three seasoned talent agents—Adam Bauer of Dynamic Talent, Virginia Prater of Prater Day, and Cassie Seigel of Mint Talent Group held an engaging conversation about the artist booking process. We heard how they advocate for their artists, what they value most in venue relationships, and what makes an offer stand out—even when it doesn’t meet the asking price.
Questions were discussed about artist discovery, evaluating an artist’s market value, crafting competitive offers, and navigating offer deadlines. We also took a closer look at block booking—when it works, why it’s beneficial, and the realities that can make it challenging to pull together.
Whether new to talent buying or experienced presenters, attendees left with practical insights and a better understanding of how to build stronger partnerships with agents and book more successfully.
