Meghan McNamara, executive director of Levitt Pavilion Denver, was recognized in Westword as one of four women leading the charge to redefine Denver as an epicenter of live music. Alongside peers at the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, Swallow Hill Music, and Underground Music Showcase, McNamara makes Denver music history as—for the first time ever—all four leading music organizations are run by women.

Reflecting upon the collective power that can be unlocked through strategic partnerships, pooled resources, and impactful activation of music audiences, McNamara said: “There’s this whole other world of supporting organizations that directly benefit and support… a thriving music ecosystem, and I think that gets lost. Entertainment is beautiful and that’s the first part of it—it’s what draws people in. But how do we also share that there is so much more at play for this ecosystem to continue to thrive?”
