Session Description
The training series kicked off with an introduction to the theory and practice of event risk management—the foundation for planning and delivering safe and successful concerts. Building upon the key risks identified during the findings presented at the National Convening presentation, Peter discussed the steps to develop an event risk register (template provided) for a concert series and how incident and ‘near miss’ reporting can support concert series risk management practices through a data-driven approach.
